
Right to Play (RTP) was founded in 1999.   RTP is best known for its unmatched play based learning methodology that fosters children’s life skills.   RTP Ethiopia has been implementing programs that have supported more than 80,000 in–schools and out of school children in both humanitarian and development contexts since 2005. The partnership of BL and RTP began in 2020 with a project“Enhancing Quality and Inclusive Education (EQIE)” which is under implementation in Ada’aWoreda of Oromia Region state.

Disability and Development Partners (DDP) was founded in 1992. It is a UK registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. It is governed by a board of Trustees which provides strategic and financial oversight as well as raising awareness of and support for DDP’s work. The partnership of BL and DDP began in 2003 and able to implement more than 7 projects that have a direct contribution on addressing multifaceted problems of Children with disabilities, Girls, Women and other vulnerable groups. Currently a project on “Improving women and girls’ health and wellbeing, combatting harmful traditional practices” is under implementation in Malgaworeda of Sidama Regional State.
